In a bombastic social media post yesterday as their bromance came to an end, Musk made the inflammatory suggestion that President Trump is refusing to release the secret Epstein FBI files because he is 'named' in them.
Epstein attorney David Schoen refuted his claim, insisting that Epstein told him he had 'no information that would hurt President Trump'.
'I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein's defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump.
'I specifically asked him!' he said.
It came as Epstein's right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell, waited for the Trump administration to respond to her request for an appeal.
In a letter on Friday, Solicitor General John Sauer requested more time to consider Maxwell's request. She is the only Epstein associate serving time in prison for their role in the late pedophile's sick network.
Her lawyers and family are yet to appeal directly to the president.
But former Trump friend and attorney Alan Dershowitz tells Daily Mail that he would be right to consider it.

The British socialite former pal of Prince Andrew lost her appeal in 2024 and in April this year her legal team filed a petition to the US Supreme Court. It claims she was covered by a 2007 non-prosecution agreement for any Epstein co-conspirator.
Epstein, who operated his sickening trafficking empire from his Manhattan townhouse, Palm Beach mansion in Florida and private island in the Virgin Islands, killed himself in jail in 2019 to avoid facing justice.
His death meant Maxwell then became the prime focus for his crimes, Dershowitz asserts.

Trump allegedly compared two alleged mistresses to Ivanka
In a March 2018 CNN interview with Anderson Cooper, former Playboy model Karen McDougal discussed an affair she allegedly had with Trump over a decade ago. McDougal alleged that Trump said McDougal was “beautiful like her,” referring to Ivanka.
In an interview with In Touch, which was conducted in 2011 but was not published until 2018, Stormy Daniels recalled that Trump allegedly compared her to his daughter. “He told me once that I was someone to be reckoned with, beautiful and smart just like his daughter.”
The woman, who claims that Donald Trump raped her when she was thirteen years old, is apparently going to break her silence on Wednesday afternoon. The plaintiff, who has used the pseudonym “Jane Doe,” is expected to appear for the first time with her new attorney, Lisa Bloom, to discuss the allegations. Bloom is also representing Jill Harth, who claims that Trump sexually assaulted her while the two did business together in the mid-1990s. The Los Angeles based attorney sent out this tweet about Wednesday afternoon’s press conference:
Last month, “Jane Doe” filed a lawsuit claiming that Trump raped her when she was 13 years old in the 1990s. This is the third attempt the plaintiff has made in filing this particular lawsuit. In October, she filed an amended complaint, with a new “witness” named “Joan Doe.” The plaintiff and witnesses in the case are using pseudonyms, they say, to protect their identities.
“In the 1994-95 school year, I was told by the plaintiff in Jane Doe v. Trump and Epstein (1:16-cv-04642, SDNY) that the plaintiff was subject to sexual contact by the Defendants at parties in New York City during the summer of 1994,” one of the witnesses said in a declaration.
The complaint alleges that billionaire convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein had a woman pick up teenage girls for his famous parties, and that one of these girls was “Jane.” Another witness, “Tiffany,” who also provided an affidavit in the lawsuit, said she witnessed Trump and Epstein rape the plaintiff several times. Trump has repeatedly denied the allegations.
“As I have said before, the allegations are categorically untrue and an obvious publicity stunt aimed at smearing my client,” AlanGarten, Trump’s attorney, told LawNewz.comin a previous story, “In the event we are actually served this time, we intend to move for sanctions for this frivolous filing.”
Judge Ronnie Abrams (who also happens to be the sister of LawNewz.com founder Dan Abrams) has called for a status conference hearing on December 16, 2016 (well after the election) at 11:30 am at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She’s asked for both sides to provide information that could assist the Court in advancing the case to settlement or trial.

The Mafia and Blackmail
During the 1920’s and 1930’s, bootleggers teamed up and laid the foundation for an underground network that still can be seen today. Samuel Bronfman began bootlegging alcohol in Canada and brought his knowledge to the US. The Bronfmans, “brandy man” in Yiddish, also owned a chain of hotels, which would be used at network checkpoints for bootlegging. The family would team up with the National Crime Syndicate, which consisted of many Italian-American and Jewish-American mob families.

Years later, Samuel Bronfman’s children and grandchildren, their family’s ties to the criminal underworld intact, would go on to associate closely with Leslie Wexner, allegedly the source of much of Epstein’s mysterious wealth, and other mob-linked “philanthropists,” and some would even manage their own sexual blackmail operations, including the recently busted blackmail-based “sex cult” NXIVM.

One of Samuel Bronfman’s partners was Lewis Rosentiel, who owned the Schenley Products Company, which would become one of the largest liquor companies in North America.

Rosenstiel also had close ties with the FBI, developing a close relationship with longtime FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and making Hoover’s right-hand man, Louis Nichols, the Vice President of his Schenley empire in 1957.
Rosenstiel hosted extravagant parties that included “boy prostitutes” that her husband had hired “for the enjoyment” of certain guests, which included important government officials and prominent figures in America’s criminal underworld. These were the early version of “blackmail parties”.

Lansky is one of the most notorious gangsters in the history of American organized crime and is notable for being the only famous mobster rising tonotoriety in the 1920s who managed to die an old man and never serve a day in jail.

Lansky also had close ties to the CIA and U.S. military intelligence. During World War II, Lansky, along with his associate Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel, worked with Naval intelligence in what was codenamed “Operation Underworld,” an operation the existence of which the government denied for over 40 years.
This network became extremely efficient in blackmailing politicians and powerful people, which would in turn force more people to join the network. The FBI Director, J. Edgar Hoover was one of these people. Like Rosenstiel, Hoover was well-known for amassing blackmail on friend and foe alike. Hoover’s office contained “secret files” on numerous powerful people in Washington and beyond, files he used to gain favors and protect his status as FBI director for as long as he wished.

What’s interesting is that Hoover was also very close to Donald Trump’s advisor, Roy Cohn, who was closely associated with the Reagan White House, the CIA, the FBI, organized crime and many figure who would later surround Jeffrey Epstein.

The relationship between Cohn and Rosenstiel was a like a twisted father and son relationship. One of the “blackmail parties” Susan Kaufman attended with her then-husband Lewis Rosenstiel was hosted by Cohn in 1958 at Manhattan’s Plaza Hotel, suite 233.

In the 1960s, fame was the thing to have, and Cohn wanted to be surround himself with it. He started frequenting the most expensive, elite hangouts and attended parties he knew high-profile celebrities and politicians would attend. Around this time, Cohn connected with members of multiple New York mafia families. He became the main legal representation for La Cosa Nostra, the Italian mob. Both the Gambino crime family and the Genovese crime family used Cohn as their “get out of jail free” card, and he gave their members a media spotlight that convinced the public they couldn’t be criminals.
In the book, The Franklin Cover-Up, Cohn had admitted to being part of a sexual blackmail operation targeting politicians with child prostitutes during a sit-down interview with the former detective:
“Cohn’s job was to run the little boys. Say you had an admiral, a general, a congressman, who did not want to go along with the program. Cohn’s job was to set them up, then they would go along. Cohn told me that himself.”
Though it is unknown how long the sex ring at the Plaza Hotel continued, and whether it continued after Cohn’s death from AIDS in 1986, it is worth noting that Donald Trump purchased the Plaza Hotel in 1988.

It would later be reported and confirmed by then-attendees that Trump “used to host parties in suites at the Plaza Hotel when he owned it, where young women and girls were introduced to older, richer men” and “illegal drugs and young women were passed around and used.”
Cohn referred to Donald Trump as his best friend. Cohn told journalists that Trump phoned him 15 to 20 times a day and according to Seymour's notes, Trump was the last person to speak to Cohn on the phone before he died in 1986.

On May 2nd, 1983, there was a Testimonial Dinner in honor of Roy Cohn at the Plaza Hotel. It was organized by the B’nai B’rith Banking and Finance Lodge, which was the pre-cursor organization to the ADL (Anti-Defamation League). Roy Cohn’s father, Albert Cohn, was the long-time president of B’nai B’rith’s powerful New England-New York chapter and Roy Cohn himself was a member of B’nai B’rith’s Banking and Finance Lodge.

What’s interesting is that these men formed the group known as the Mega Group in 1991 but they also did business with Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell throughout the 80’s.

The Mega Group was a secretive group of billionaires formed in 1991 by Charles Bronfman and Leslie Wexner. Groups associated with the Mega Group include the World Jewish Congress, whose past president, Edgar Bronfman, and current president, Ronald Lauder, are both Mega Group members and B’nai B’rith, particularly its spin-off known as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The Bronfman brothers were major donors to the ADL, with Edgar Bronfman serving as the ADL’s honorary national vice-chair for several years.

Mega Group members have also been key players in the pro-Israel lobby in the United States. For instance, Max Fisher of the Mega Group foundedthe National Jewish Coalition, now known as the Republican Jewish Coalition — the main pro-Israel neoconservative political lobbying group, known for its support of hawkish policies, and whose current chief patrons, Sheldon Adelson and Bernard Marcus, are among Donald Trump’s top donors.
Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell, partnered with the Bronfman brothers, Edgar and Charles, key figures in the Mega Group. In 1989 Maxwell and Charles Bronfman partnered up to bid on the Jerusalem Post newspaper and the Post described the two men as “two of the world’s leading Jewish financiers” and their interest in the venture as “developing The Jerusalem Post and expanding its influence among world Jewry.” A year prior, Maxwell and Bronfman had become top shareholders in the Israeli pharmaceutical company Teva.

After it was revealed that Epstein had evaded stricter sentencing in 2008 due to his links to “intelligence,” it was the Mossad ties of Ghislaine Maxwell’s father that have led many to speculate that Epstein’s sexual blackmail operation was sharing incriminating information with the Mossad.

Jeffrey Epstein was also a long-time friend of former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who has long-standing and deep ties to Israel’s intelligence community. Their decades-long friendship has been the source of recent political attacks targeting Barak, who is running in the Israeli elections against current Prime Minister Netanyahu later this year.
Barak is also close to Epstein’s chief patron and Mega Group member Leslie Wexner, whose Wexner Foundation gave Barak $2 million in 2004 for a still unspecified research program. According to Barak, he was first introduced to Epstein by former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres, who eulogized Robert Maxwell at his funeral and had decades-long ties with the Bronfman family going back to the early 1950s.

Sometime in February 1974, former U.S. intelligence agent Donald Barr, father of William Barr, announces that he is leaving his position as headmaster at Dalton at the end of the school year. Later he hires Jeffrey Epstein to begin work the following September, teaching math and science.
Donald Barr’s son, William Barr, serves as the United States Attorney General in the George H. W. Bush Adminstration and Trump Administration. He also worked for the CIA from 1971 to 1977 during Roy Cohn’s reign as the Mafia’s fixer.

On August 18, 1981, after being fired from Bear Stearns, Jeffrey Epstein launches his own consulting firm, Intercontinental Assets Group Inc (IAG). The name is fitting because Epstein and his company specialize in transnational crime and government assets — money and people.
After leaving Bear Stearns and working as an alleged financial “bounty hunter” for clients that are said to have included the Iran-Contra-linked arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, Epstein would come into contact with Leslie Wexner, a billionaire close to the Meyer Lansky-linked Bronfman family, who himself was tied to members of organized crime syndicates once represented by Cohn.

Roy Cohn’s influence in the Reagan administration and his friendship with the Reagan family and their inner circle has been acknowledged, less well-known is how Cohn aided the CIA’s covert propaganda efforts that were part of the larger scandal known as Iran-Contra.

CIA Director and Cohn friend William Casey was spearheading an extensive PR campaign aimed at shoring up public support for Reagan’s Latin American policies, including support of the Contra paramilitaries. Cohn and Casey were most likely running sexual blackmail operations that abused and exploited children during the Reagan administration.

One of Epstein’s new clients is Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, who is currently smuggling weapons from Israel to Iran on behalf of the Reagan administration (the Iran-Contra affair).
On March 26, 1984, President Ronald Reagan awarded Norman Vincent Peal the Presidential Medal of Freedom (the highest civilian honor in the United States).

On December 27th, 1985, Donald Trump becomes the new owner of the Mar-a-Lago estate, a 17-acre property with a Mediterranean-style mansion made up of over 100 rooms.

In 1987, Donald Trump buys a “surveillance yacht” from Saudi arms smuggler Adnan Khashoggi for $30 million.

One of the Taj Mahal’s senior employees, Danny Sau Keung Leung, is an associate of a China-based international crime syndicate. He was identified as a leader of organized crime in Canada years before. The U.S. Senate identifies him as a member of the 14K Triad in 1992.
Donald Trump can’t afford an upcoming $47.3 million interest payment on the Trump Taj Mahal’s debt, so he plans to offer new “junk bonds” to bondholders to reduce the cost of the interest payments.
Trump’s future Commerce secretary and Senior Managing Director of Rothschild Inc., Wilbur Ross, tells the New York Times that the move has worse consequences for everyone involved than just filing bankruptcy. Trump, Ross says, is scamming his bondholders:
”What he is asking the bondholders to do is to make him a couple of hundred million dollars as a present,” said Wilbur Ross, which has been retained by the bondholders’ steering committee. ”We think it’s a little too early for Christmas….
In 1990, Epstein buys his Palm Beach home and becomes Trump’s neighbor. The drive from Mar-a-Lago to Epstein’s house takes only five minutes, and Trump visits at least once.
On October 27, 1991, Seymour M. Hersh publishes The Samson Option: Israel’s Nuclear Arsenal and American Foreign Policy, which includes claims that Robert Maxwell works for Mossad. Maxwell is found dead about a week later.
The accusations come from Ari Ben-Menashe, an Israeli-Canadian businessman, lobbyist, security consultant, and self-proclaimed former officer of Israel’s Military Intelligence Directorate (Mossad). Ben-Menashe tried telling the press about Maxwell’s Israeli bosses years earlier, but papers were too afraid of Maxwell’s influence to print the allegations.
On November 5th, 1991, Robert Maxwell died mysteriously and his body was found in the Atlantic Ocean.

In 1993, Evan Chandler said Michael Michael Jackson sexually abused him and even Jackson's staff reported inappropirate behavior. Chandler described Michael as 'hostile and evil'.
Also in 1993, Michael's sister La Toya Jackson said Michael was a pedophile. She said she had seen checks made out to different boys' families and that Jackson's own childhood physical abuse had turned him into an abuser. On September 15th, 1993, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell attend an event at the White House and mingle with President Bill Clinton.
The sex traffickers take a tour of Clinton’s residence and the East Room during a reception hosted by Bill and Hillary. The event is for donors who contributed to the White House Historical Association’s renovation project. Epstein had donated over $10,000.
When one thinks back to the now-famous Iran-Contra scandal, names like Ronald Reagan, Oliver North and Barry Seal comes to mind, but former President Bill Clinton also played an outsized role in the scandal — using his home state of Arkansas, where he was then serving as governor, as a sort of rallying point for the CIA’s U.S.-side of the Central American operation.
According to the New Yorker, Lynn Forester de Rothschild requested “financial help” from none other than Jeffrey Epstein in 1993 during her divorce from Andrew Stein.
Before marrying into the Rothschild family in 2000, Lynn had previously been married to Andrew Stein, a major figure in New York Democratic politics, with whom she had two sons. Andrew’s brother, James Finkelstein, married Cathy Frank, the granddaughter of Lewis Rosenstiel, the mob-linked businessman who ran a sexual blackmail operation exploiting underage boys.

As far as Forester de Rothschild’s ties to the Mega Group go, she is currently on the board of directors of Estee Lauder companies, which was founded and is still owned by the family of Ronald Lauder — a member of the Mega Group, a former Reagan official, a family friend of Roy Cohn, and the alleged source of Jeffrey Epstein’s now-infamous Austrian passport. In addition, Forester de Rothschild also partnered with Matthew Bronfman — son of Mega Group member Edgar Bronfman and grandson of Samuel Bronfman, who had close ties to Meyer Lansky — in creating the investment advisory firm Bronfman E.L. Rothschild LP.
She was also introduced to her second husband, Evelyn de Rothschild, by Henry Kissinger at a Bilderberg conference. Several of the individuals connected to the Mega Group and the Mossad-linked media mogul Robert Maxwell — including Mark Palmer, Max Fisher and John Lehman — were one-time aides or advisers to Henry Kissinger.

In 1995, Forester de Rothschild, then a member of Clinton’s National Information Infrastructure Advisory Council, wrote the following to then-President Clinton:
“Dear Mr. President: It was a pleasure to see you recently at Senator Kennedy’s house. There was too much to discuss and too little time. Using my fifteen seconds of access to discuss Jeffrey Epstein and currency stabilization, I neglected to talk to you about a topic near and dear to my heart. Namely, affirmative action and the future.”

It is unclear when Lynn Forester de Rothschild first met Jeffrey Epstein, but she was one of his leading advocates and had the ear of then-President Bill Clinton in the early 1990s, speaking to Clinton specifically about Epstein during her “fifteen seconds of access” with the president and also introducing Epstein to lawyer Alan Dershowitz in 1996.

In 1995, Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal purchases a controlling stake in the Plaza, saving Trump from bankruptcy.
On June 18th, 1996, Benjamin Netanyahu becomes the Prime Minister of Israel. Netanyahu is a close family friend of the Kushner family, even sleeping in Jared’s childhood bed during visits. Netanyahu will remain Prime Minister until 1999 and resume the role in March 2009:
“Netanyahu has long been a friend of the Kushners, and particularly Jared’s dad, Charles Kushner, a major donor to pro-Israel and Jewish causes. January 5th, 1997, Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and alleged Epstein client Glenn Dubin fly from Palm Beach to New Jersey in Epstein’s private jet. The flight logs for the day are revealed in August 2019 when almost 2,000 court documents from a defamation lawsuit are unsealed. Also on the flight are Ghislaine Maxwell, Eva Dubin, and Jeffrey’s brother Mark Epstein.
On January 10, 1997, or possibly a week before, a reporter for The New Yorker is given a ride to Palm Beach while doing a story on Donald Trump. Mark Singer (the reporter) and Trump are joined on his private jet by Ghislaine Maxwell, 13-year-old Eric Trump, attorney Eric Javits, and Matthew Calamari, the head of security for the Trump Organization:
“The most direct but not exactly most serene way to travel to Mar-a-Lago, I discovered one weekend not long ago, is aboard Trump’s 727, the same aircraft he gave up during the blip and, after an almost decent interval, bought back. Sometime in the summer of 2000, 16-year-old Virginia Roberts worked as a locker room attendant at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach when Ghislaine Maxwell offers her a job as a personal masseuse to her friend Jeffrey.
In September 2000, Trump attended the US Open Tennis Match with Bill Clinton. Before running for president as a Republican, Trump expressed considerable admiration for the Clinton family, and they have interacted socially for decades – most prominently, Hillary Clinton was in attendance when Trump eventually married Melania in 2005.

On July 24, 2006, Jeffrey Epstein is indicted for soliciting prostitution and other services from women and underage girls. He pleads not guilty.
On January 2nd, 2007, Jared Kushner buys 666 5th Avenue building, a 41-story tower, for more money than any building has ever cost in NYC history. On November 4, 2016, Jane Doe / Katie Johnson drops her lawsuit against Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein after an onslaught of violent threats and her attorney’s files and email are hacked. Johnson (pseudonym) planned to give a press conference on November 2nd but backed out in fear for her and attorney Lisa Bloom’s safety. Two days later, the case is dropped.
Johnson alleged that Trump and Epstein sexually assaulted her at multiple parties in 1994, including violently raping her and threatening her life and the lives of her family if she ever spoke out. The case included testimonies from a witness who was also at the parties, as well as a friend that Johnson confided in at the time.
On November 6th, 2016, WikiLeaks releases a final batch of 8,000 DNC emails.
Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017 and became the President of the United States.
On August 8th, 2018, Steve Bannon makes a secret visit to Jeffrey Epstein at his Manhattan home. Bannon’s name is also in Epstein’s “little black book,” a list of contacts that a former employee stole from his home in 2005. The employee claims that the book was put together by Epstein’s personal staff and “contained the names and phone numbers of more than 100 victims, plus hundreds of social contacts.”
On August 16th, 2018, Journalist James B. Stewart interviews Jeffrey Epstein at his New York mansion. During the interview, Epstein claims that he’s been working with Elon Musk and Tesla:
Rumors have been swirling that Epstein is helping Tesla find a new chairman after the SEC opened an investigation into Musk and the company. Epstein tells Stewart that the rumors are true, but Tesla will never confirm it because he’s “radioactive.” He doesn’t say much else about Tesla except that he’s talking to Saudi Arabia about investing in the company.
On July 9, 2019, Reporter Vicky Ward releases a backstory on Jeffrey Epstein where she confesses that a former White House official told her in 2017 that, according to Alexander Acosta, Epstein works for the intelligence community.
“Is the Epstein case going to cause a problem [for confirmation hearings]?” Acosta had been asked. Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he’d had just one meeting on the Epstein case. He’d cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein’s attorneys because he had “been told” to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone,” he told his interviewers in the Trump transition, who evidently thought that was a sufficient answer and went ahead and hired Acosta. (The Labor Department had no comment when asked about this.)

On March 29, 2021, prosecutors charge Ghislaine Maxwell with sex trafficking of a minor for the first time. The charge comes with new allegations that she groomed and paid a 14-year-old girl to engage in sex acts with Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell had only been accused of assisting Epstein’s operation. The new charges suggest that prosecutors believe Maxwell is as responsible for these crimes as Epstein himself.

As someone who has never dug into these connections before, it was pretty shocking to find out that Trump knew the big players before Epstein did. As a digger all I care about is the truth and politics don’t matter to me. After this research, it’s hard to ignore the fact that the 2016 US Presidential Election included Epstein’s closest acquaintances, Trump and Clinton.

In 2007, federal prosecutors prepared a 53-page indictment that could have put Jeffrey Epstein in prison for life for the sex trafficking of minors. Instead, Epstein served only thirteen months for solicitation—during which he was allowed to leave and work from his office for 12 hours a day, six days a week—thanks to a sweetheart plea deal brokered by Alex Acosta, then a federal prosecutor in Florida.
In 2019, Acosta proposed cutting the funding of his department's International Labor Affairs Bureau from $68 million in 2018 to under $20 million in 2020. That agency combats human trafficking (including child sex trafficking), child labor and forced labor internationally.

Bannon persuaded Goldman Sachs to invest, in 2006, in a company known as Internet Gaming Entertainment. Following a lawsuit, the company rebranded as Affinity Media, and Bannon took over as CEO. From 2007 through 2011, Bannon was the chair and CEO of Affinity Media.
Bannon served as vice president of the board of Cambridge Analytica, Bannon oversaw the collection of Facebook data which was used to target American voters. Wylie who helped with creation of the company referred to the company as a "psychological warfare tool".
Bannon became interested in the gaming online community, describing its members as "rootless white males, who had monster power". Through Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos, whom Bannon recruited, Bannon realized that he could "activate that army" of gamers and Internet trolls, adding, "They came in through Gamergate or whatever and then get turned onto politics and Trump."

In August 2020, Bannon and three others were arrested on federal charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and money laundering in connection with the We Build the Wall fundraising campaign. According to the grand jury indictment, Bannon and the defendants promised that all contributions would go to building a U.S.–Mexico border wall, but instead enriched themselves. Bannon pleaded not guilty.
On January 20, 2021, on his last day in office, Trump pardoned Bannon, sparing him from a federal trial.
William Barr

From 1971 to 1977, Barr was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency, which was the same time period Roy Cohn, Trump’s mentor and lawyer for all 5 mafia families, was known to have CIA ties.
Sometime in February 1974, former U.S. intelligence agent Donald Barr, father of William Barr, announces that he is leaving his position as headmaster at Dalton at the end of the school year. Later he hires Jeffrey Epstein to begin work the following September, teaching math and science.
In the 1980s, Barr worked for the law firm Shaw, Pittman, Potts & Trowbridge, with one year's work in the White House of the Ronald Reagan administration dealing with legal policies.
Under Barr's advice, President George H. W. Bush in 1992 pardoned six officials involved in the Iran–Contra affair.

In 1985, Barrack first dealt with Donald Trump when he sold Trump a one-fifth stake in the Alexander's department stores.
In 1988, Trump agreed to pay Barrack $410 million for total ownership of the Plaza Hotel. He later lost both properties in bankruptcy.

Alan Dershowitz
Member of Trump’s Defense Team in his First Impeachment Trial - 2020
In 1976, Dershowitz handled the successful appeal of Harry Reems, who had been convicted of distribution of obscenity resulting from acting in the pornographic movie Deep Throat. Dershowitz argued against censorship of pornography on First Amendment grounds and maintained that consumption of pornography was not harmful.
In 1995, Dershowitz served as the appellate adviser on the murder trial of O. J. Simpson, part of the legal "Dream Team", alongside Johnnie Cochran and F. Lee Bailey.
Member of Jeffrey Epstein’s Defense Team and helped negotiate a 2006 non-prosecution agreement on Epstein’s behalf. Dershowitz had previously befriended Epstein through their mutual acquaintance Lynn Forester de Rothschild.

Icahn was a Director for 11 years of Scientia Health Group Ltd. a Bermuda-incorporated biotechnology investment company. The company was formed in 2001 by Samuel Waksal, an immunologist who founded the controversial biotech company ImClone.
Scientia’s shareholders included Harvey Weinstein and Martha Stewart. Waksal and Stewart went to prison in 2003 - 2004, for crimes related to insider trading in ImClone shares - Source
Upon becoming the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Trump announced that he would nominate Icahn for United States Secretary of the Treasury. However, he instead nominated Steven Mnuchin.
In February 2016, Icahn Enterprises purchased Trump Entertainment Resorts, which owned the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. The company sold the casino to the owners of Hard Rock Cafe for $50 million in May 2017 - which represented a recuperation of just 4 cents on the dollar.
Also in October 2016, Icahn closed the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, citing a $350 million loss over several years as well as failure to reach a deal with striking union workers.
In February 2018, Icahn avoided a $6 million loss by selling some of his holdings in a steel-price sensitive stock just days before the Trump administration announced a 25% tariff on steel imports.

Robert Maxwell and Donald Trumpshared the same U.S. publicist, Howard Rubenstein, who's also friends with the Kushner family. Robert Maxwell’s daughter, Ghislaine Maxwell was partners with Jeffrey Epstein.
Jared’s father, Charles Kushner met personally with Harvard's president, and in 1998 donated $2.5 million to Harvard. Jared Kushner was admitted to the Harvard freshman class of 1999. At Harvard, Kushner was elected into the Fly Club, supported the campus Chabad house led by Hirschy Zarchi.
In 2005, Charles Kushner was convicted of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering, and was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, which he served in the Federal Prison Camp, Montgomery. As a convicted felon, he was also disbarred in three states. He later received a federal pardon issued by his son's father-in-law Donald Trump on December 23, 2020.
Kushner Companies purchased the office building at 666 Fifth Avenue in 2007, for a then-record price of $1.8 billion, most of it borrowed.
In 2014, Kushner, with his brother Joshua and Ryan Williams, co-founded Cadre, an online real-estate investment platform. His business partners included Goldman Sachs and billionaire George Soros, a top Democratic Party donor. In early 2015, Soros Fund Management financed the startup with a $250 million credit line.
The Kushner and Trump family have been family friends with Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton for decades and attended several dinners with them.

Previously, in mid-2012, a Department of Defense official evaluating Theranos'sblood-testing technology for the military initiated a formal inquiry with the Food and Drug Administration about the company's intent to distribute its tests without FDA clearance.
In August 2012, Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes asked Mattis, who had expressed interest in testing Theranos's technology in combat areas, to help. Within hours, Mattis forwarded his email exchange with Holmes to military officials, asking "how do we overcome this new obstacle".

Not long after Epstein’s arrest, and his relationships and finances came under scrutiny, it was revealed that the Israeli company Carbyne911 had received substantial funding from Jeffrey Epstein as well as Epstein’s close associate and former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak, and Silicon Valley venture capitalist and prominent Trump backer Peter Thiel.
The original Board of Directors of Carbyne911 also included Nicole Junkermann, who flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s Lolitta Express 3 times. After her role in the Trump Administration, Linda McMahon became the Chairman of the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action,which helped raise $83 Million for Trump’s reelection campaign in 2020.
In June 2022, Vince McMahon stepped down as CEO and Chairman of the WWE, following claims of hush-money agreements paid over affairs with former WWE employees.

George Houraney, a businessman whose American Dream Calendar Girls beauty contest had been running in Las Vegas casinos since 1978, recalls encountering Epstein at Mar-a-Lago in January 1993. Houraney says that Trump asked him to organise a party that month with some of his pageant’s finalists, promising to invite heads of modelling agencies and prospective sponsors for his competition:
“He had me fly in all these girls, and gave me a $30,000 budget for airfares and limos to pick them up at the airport,” he says. “The girls were all decked out, expecting to meet all these VIPs.” But after an hour at the party, Houraney says, there seemed to be only one other guest: Epstein. “I was like, ‘Donald, where are the guys? What’s going on here?’ And he said, ‘Well, this is it.’”

A month earlier, in December 1992, Trump had met with Houraney and Jill Harth, who ran the pageant together. They were looking for a new sponsor for their contest, which each year saw models aged 16 to 22 compete to appear in wall calendars wearing bikinis and swimsuits while posing with classic cars. At dinner in the Plaza’s Oak Room, Harth, Houraney and Trumpdiscussed moving the American Dream competition from Las Vegas to one of Trump’s casinos:
“He wanted to build this into the biggest, the best thing that he could do. He was talking about television and pulling out all the contacts,” Harth later said.
Eventually, the pageant was held at Trump Castle in Atlantic City in November 1993, but for one year only. The partnership soured and ended in two lawsuits, but for Trump it was a prelude to a series of more lucrative ventures in the beauty business.
The Spirit of New York
The party aboard the Spirit of New York was one of several events that Donald Trump, then 45, attended with a group of 58 aspiring young models that September. They had travelled from around the world to compete in Elite’s Look of the Year competition, an annual event that had been running since 1983 and was already credited with launching the careers of Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Stephanie Seymour. Trump was closely involved in Casablancas’s competition. In 1991, he was a headline sponsor, throwing open the Plaza, his lavish, chateau-style hotel overlooking Central Park, transforming it into the main venue and accommodating the young models. He was also one of its 10 judges.

A large private yacht cruised towards the Statue of Liberty. It was a clear, breezy evening, and from the upper deck of the Spirit of New York, a golden sunset could be seen glinting off the Manhattan skyline. Downstairs, a party was in flow. Scores of teenage girls in evening dresses and miniskirts, some as young as 14, danced under disco lights. It could have been a high school prom, were it not for the crowd of older men surrounding them.

In 1991, there were 10 judges in total, eight of them men, including Trump, Casablancas, the celebrity magician David Copperfield, and the president of Elite’s European division, Gérald Marie. For the swimwear round, judges including Trump and Casablancas sat at a table in one of the Plaza’s palatial rooms, rating the teenage models:
“I felt so uncomfortable, standing there in my bathing suit,” recalls Wilkes. She says that at one stage of the contest the judges said she should lose weight: “It felt like they were ganging up on me.”

The finale of the 1991 competition was a glittering black-tie gala at Trump’s Plaza Hotel in the Plaza’s ballroom. Casablancas and supermodel Naomi Campbell presented, as 10 finalists went through a series of costume changes, walking across a stage decorated with columns of sunflowers. Trump sat on the front row alongside a roster of celebrities, his nine-year-old daughter Ivanka perched on his knee.

In 1992, Trump hosted the competition again. On a similarly golden evening in early September that year, another group of contestants boarded the Spirit of New York, chartered for another Elite cruise.
In 1996, Trump secured what the New York Daily News described as “his most beautiful deal yet”. After months of negotiations, Trump acquired the Miss Universe Organization in a reported $10m deal that handed him control of three large, well-established pageants: Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA. Three years later, he founded Trump Model Management, poaching many staff from Elite Management Company.
For Wolfgang Schwarz, a veteran model agent in Austria who worked closely with Casablancas, and met Trump at the Plaza in the early 90s, Trump’s decision to establish his own agency was about him wanting his own private source for models:
“If you have your own agency and you’re the owner, you can tell your bookers to make a party,” Schwarz says. “It’s easier than calling 15 agencies in New York.” Trump’s representatives say he entered the modelling industry because it was a “very profitable” business opportunity.

In 1996, Donald Trump bought the pageant from ITT Corp. During this time, in 1998, Miss Universe, Inc. changed its name to the Miss Universe Organization, and moved its headquarters from Los Angeles to New York City.
As part of the legal settlement, in September 2015, Trump bought out NBC's 50% stake in the Miss Universe Organization, making him the company's sole owner. Three days later, he sold the whole company to Ari Emanuel and Endeavor.
The Miss Universe Pageant has historically proven popular in regions like the Americas, Africa and Asia, especially in countries like United States, Philippines, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, South Africa, Thailand and Indonesia.
Since 2012, when Trump owned the organization, openly transgender women have been allowed to compete as long as they won their national pageants.
Between 1996 and 2015, the winner of Miss Universe is given the use of a Trump Place apartment in New York City during her reign, which she shares with the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA titleholders.
The winner then signs a contract with the Miss Universe Organization that can last at least seven months to more than a full year as per demands of the Miss Universe Organization. The new Miss Universe takes office immediately after the coronation and takes on a public cause in which she becomes the ambassador for a year to spread messages about the control of diseases, peace, and public awareness of AIDS.
The winner also receives a cash allowance for her entire reign, a New York Film Academy scholarship, a modeling portfolio, beauty products, clothes, shoes, as well as styling, healthcare, and fitness services by different sponsors of the pageant. She also gains exclusive access to events such as fashion shows and opening galas, as well as access to casting calls and modeling opportunities throughout New York City.

Danielle Herrington - She used to work for Les Wexner’s Victoria Secret Secret.
Paris Hilton - The Hilton’s family social circle included Lionel Richie, Donald Trump and Micheal Jackson. Through her family connections she joined Trump’s models at age 19 in the year 2000. This was before she rose to international stardom through her tv show The Simple Life and her2003 leaked sex tape.
Melania Trump - She was a model with Trump Model Management before her marriage to Donald Trump. In 1995 she met Metropolitan Models co-owner Paolo Zampolli, a friend of her future husband Donald Trump, who was on a scouting trip in Europe. Zampolli urged her to travel to the U.S., where he said he would like to represent her. Les Wexner acquired the lingerie business Victoria's Secret in 1982.
Wexner hired Jeffrey Epstein as his financial manager beginning sometime in the 1980s and continuing until 2007. He was the primary billionaire client of Epstein, a financier who claimed to only work with clients with a net worth of one billion USD or greater. Epstein became Wexner's financial manager in 1987.
Wexner purchased the New York property, the Herbert N. Straus House, in 1989 and later sold it to Epstein in the mid-1990s following his marriage to Abigail.
In July 1991, Wexner granted Epstein power of attorney and also instated him as a trustee on the board of the Wexner Foundation.
The first Victoria Secret fashion show was held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in August 1995. Just 5 months previous, Trumps sold the Plaza Hotel to Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.
Many of Trump’s models and Miss Universe contestants became mainstream models in the industry and worked for Les Wexner’s Victoria’s Secret.

Teenage Models and Sexual Assault
In the early 90s, Look of the Year contestants who secured modeling contracts with John Casablancas’s Elite Model Management were introduced to a fledgling financial advisory firm, Star Capital Management. It was run by David Weil who was an official sponsor of Look of the Year and advertised its services in the 1991 competition program with a photograph of a small girl dressed in adult clothing and jewelery, alongside the marketing line: “Just like you, we’re not just another pretty face.”

By the following year, Star Capital Management was handling millions of dollars earned by Elite’s models. The business soon caught the attention of federal authorities, who later accused Weil and his business partner of stealing at least $1.2m from their clients.
In 1998, Weil pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges. He also pleaded guilty to the statutory rape of a 15-year-old model he had met at Look of the Year in 1992.
Four years after Weil’s conviction, in 2002, Casablancas faced his own set of accusations in the civil courts. A former Look of the Year contestant, known only as Jane Doe 44, filed a lawsuit accusing him of repeatedly sexually abusing her, beginning when she was 15.
The abuse began, according to the lawsuit, atLook of the Year 1988 in Japan, where Casablancas told Doe he was “falling in love” with her. At the end of the competition, the lawsuit states, “contestants drank and partied late into the evening” and Casablancas told the teenager to come to his hotel room. There, Casablancas sexually abused the girl “several times over the evening”. The abuse allegedly continued the following year; when the girl became pregnant, Casablancas told her “she would be having an abortion”. The abortion was allegedly “arranged and paid for” by Elite. The lawsuit also alleged that Casablancas “engaged in a pattern of seducing, sexually exploiting and/or abusing minor girls, including girls as young as 14 or 15 years old”. But in 2003, the Los Angeles superior court dismissed the claims against him because he did not live in California, where it had been filed. At the time, a lawyer for Casablancas said the allegations were without merit.
But Casablancas’ sexual interest in teenage girls predated this period. His marriage to his second wife, Danish model Jeanette Christiansen, ended in 1983 when it emerged that he was having an affair with a 15-year-old model, Stephanie Seymour. Casablancas, who was in his early 40s at the time, later described Seymour as a “woman-child”. He met his third wife, Brazilian model Aline Wermelinger, in 1992, when she was a Look of the Year contestant staying at Trump’s Plaza. They married the following year; Casablancas was 51 and she was 17.
Jeffrey Epstein had a Casablancas connection during the 1990s. According to a lawsuit filed in the US three months ago, in 1990 Casablancas sent a teenage model for her first “casting call” at a residential address on New York’s Upper East Side, to meet a “photographer” who, it turned out, was Epstein. The lawsuit states that Epstein ordered the 15-year-old girl to undress before taking photographs of her, pushing her against a wall and sexually assaulting her.

Model Carre Sutton says that when she was 17 she was sexually assaulted dozens of times in 1986 by Gerald Marie. Sutton is one of at least 11 women who have reportedly filed testimonies to a Paris prosecutor claiming they were sexually assaulted by Marie, the former European head of Elite modelling agency. -
Jill Dodd, another model, says she was also raped by Marie after a night out in Paris in 1980 when she was a 20-year-old model. She went on to have a relationship with Adnan Khashoggi, the late Saudi arms dealer who was once said to be the richest man in the world. The same Saudi arms dealer who sole yachts to Donald Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell. She says she later discovered Khashoggi had paid Marie's modelling agency, Paris Planning, up to $50,000 to be introduced to her.

"infuriating"."Here we actually had a perpetrator in the palm of our hands," she says."There were so many times I was ready to go to Paris to testify and then they put it off and put it off."
In 2019, it was revealed that Brunel was among those named in court documents from a civil suit by Virginia Roberts Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell. The documents were unsealed on August 9, 2019, a day before Epstein's death. Giuffre alleges that she was sexually trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell to several high-profile individuals, including Brunel, while she was underage in the early 2000s.

A damning 60 Minutes report in the late 1980s highlighted the stories of several young models who alleged they had been drugged and raped by Jean-LucBrunel and the head of Prestige,Claude Haddad:

Marie has categorically denied all accusations against him.

The Trump-Maxwell relationship

An item from a May 1989 gossip column placed Trump and both Maxwells at a party aboard the elder Maxwell’s yacht, named the Lady Ghislaine, that featured caviar flown in from Paris and former Republican Sen. John Tower of Texas. The item notes that Trump compared his own larger yacht with Maxwell’s.
As it happened, Trump’s yacht, the Trump Princess, had originally belonged to the Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi — the uncle of slain Washington Post contributor Jamal Khashoggi — and Maxwell’s yacht had originally belonged to one of Adnan’s brothers.
Two years later, Maxwell fell off his yacht in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and drowned, a sensational death that was ruled accidental.
“He was a character and a colorful guy, and I think we were lucky to have seen even a short time of him in New York,” Trump told Larry King during an appearance on CNN two weeks later. “He was my kind of a guy.”
Maxwell’s biographer later related an incident from around the same period when his daughter was working for one of his business enterprises selling corporate gifts.
While planning a trip to New York, she asked her father to use his friendship with Trump to get her a meeting with the real estate mogul.
“Have you got your bum in your head?” the elder Maxwell responded, according to an account by the late Nicholas Davies, a Mirror editor who wrote Maxwell’s biography. “Why the f— would Donald Trump want to waste his time seeing you with your crappy gifts when he has a multimillion-dollar business to run?”
It appears the elder Maxwell sold his daughter short. A 1997 New Yorker profile of Trump notes that the article’s author shared a ride to Palm Beach on Trump’s private jet with Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as a teenage Eric Trump and Matthew Calamari, a longtime member of Trump’s private security team.
It is unclear whether Ghislaine Maxwell first introduced Trump and Epstein, who socialized together at least as early as 1992, but she was crucial in ensuring Epstein’s access to Trump’s world. Archival video unearthed on Wednesday by NBC from that year shows Trump and Epstein surrounded by dancing women at Mar-a-Lago, with Maxwell smiling in all the background.

According to the Rolling Stone, Walker had known Epstein for a long time when she had no connection with the Gates Foundation. She first met Epstein in 1992 when she was aspiring to be model and had just graduated from college. Walker was sightseeing in New York City on a vacation when Epstein reportedly approached her at the Plaza Hotel alongside Donald Trump, who at the time owned the landmark property.
Trump’s parties at Mar-a-Lago often featured models from Miami who floated around the patio and pool, with many more women than men, friends have recounted.
“That’s true,” Trump said in an interview in 2015, stressing he was single at the time. “The point was to have fun. It was wild.”
“There’s 100 beautiful women and 10 guys,” Roger Stone, his longtime adviser, told The Post in 2016. “ ‘Look, how cool are we?’ . . .
Epstein, who in 1990 bought his own place in Palm Beach, two miles north of Trump’s, never became a member of Mar-a-Lago but visited the club for social events, Garten has said. On some of those occasions, Epstein was accompanied by Maxwell.
“Donald liked Epstein,” said Steven Hoffenberg, a Trump acquaintance who was Epstein’s business partner at a New York private equity firm in the 1980s and ’90s, until Hoffenberg was convicted of running a massive Ponzi scheme. “But he was crazy about Maxwell, a very charming lady.”
Epstein made several appearances at Mar-a-Lago. He attended a party there with NFL cheerleaders in 1992, where he was videotaped by an NBC news crew gathering footage for a segment on Trump. The network recently released the footage, in which Trump greets Epstein warmly and whispers in the financier’s ear, leading Epstein to double over in laughter.
Photographs and videos show Epstein and Trump posing together at the mansion in 1992, 1997 and 2000. The two were also pictured together, with model Ingrid Seynhaeve, in 1997 at a Victoria’s Secret party in New York City.
Around that time, Trump flew at least once, in the late 1990s or 2000, on Epstein’s private plane from Florida to New York, according to Epstein’s brother, Mark, who described the flight in a 2009 deposition.
In an interview last week with The Post, Mark Epstein said Trump flew on the plane “numerous times” but said he was only present for one flight.
“They were good friends,” Mark Epstein said. “I know [Trump] is trying to distance himself, but they were.” He added that Trump used to comp Epstein’s mother and aunt at one of Trump’s Atlantic City casino hotels. When a Post reporter sought further details, Mark Epstein hung up.
When Jeffrey Epstein’s little black book of phone numbers appeared in a court file a few years ago, it contained 14 numbers for Trump; his wife, Melania; and others in Trump’s inner circle.
Trump and Epstein’s appearances together often made the news: In February 2000, Epstein and Maxwell attended a celebrity tennis tournament at Mar-a-Lago. Epstein brought along Prince Andrew, who was photographed with Trump and his then-girlfriend Melania Knauss.
Trump also dined at Epstein’s Upper East Side Manhattan mansion in 2003, according to New York magazine. “The dialogues are so engaging,” Epstein told the magazine, “that serving even the most extraordinary food sometimes seems inappropriate.”
But according to Stone, Trump turned down numerous invitations to Epstein’s private island and his Palm Beach home. In a 2016 book, Stone quoted Trump as saying that “The one time I visited [Epstein’s] Palm Beach home, the swimming pool was full of beautiful young girls. ‘How nice,’ I thought, ‘he let the neighborhood kids use his pool.’ ”
‚Palm Beach egos going at it‘
It was another prime property on Palm Beach island that pitted the two men against each other — a six-acre oceanfront estate with a 180-degree view of the Atlantic.
In November 2004, Trump, who was starring in NBC’s “The Apprentice” at the time, declared himself intent on winning “the finest piece of land in Florida and probably the U.S.,” an estate that had been seized as part of the bankruptcy of nursing home magnate Abe Gosman.
Trump said he planned to create “the second greatest house in America, Mar-a-Lago being the first” and then resell it.
Epstein was also enraptured by the property, which Gosman had purchased in 1988 for about $12 million from Leslie Wexner, the Ohio-based retail executive who was a friend and patron of Epstein’s. In contrast to Trump, Epstein seemed interested in living at the place. Harley Riedel, an attorney for Gosman, said the previous owner had filled the mansion with pricey art and “really did have in his heart that it would be nice if someone moved in and lived there.”
At first, Epstein pressed to gain the upper hand in the competition for the estate, according to Luzinski, the bankruptcy trustee. Epstein agreed on a price and terms that were viewed as favorable for Gosman’s creditors if a higher bid didn’t emerge, he said.
As the competition heated up, Trump and Epstein began talking each other down to the trustee, Luzinski said.
On Nov. 15, 2004, the bidders, their representatives, and a small cavalry of lawyers representing the creditors and the Gosman family gathered in a courtroom at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in West Palm Beach. Trump was connected by phone.

The auction began with an attempt by one of Epstein’s three attorneys to knock Trump out of the bidding. Attorney Andrew Kamensky argued that Trump was not qualified because he demanded that the property have title insurance or he would not close on the sale. “What I’m telling you is that Mr. Epstein will — he will close,” Kamensky said, according a transcript obtained by The Post.
Trump wasn’t in Palm Beach — his own attorney, Raymond Royce, was in the courtroom. But Trump was on the phone, and now he chimed in to defend himself.
Riedel’s first notice that Trump might personally take part in the proceedings came when his voice boomed from the speakerphone. “I was sort of shocked,” the lawyer said.
Judge Steven Friedman rejected Epstein’s objection. The bidding began with Epstein’s offer of $37.25 million, but he dropped out after his bid of $38.6 million was topped.
Trump “had made up his mind to get it no matter the price,” said Charles Tatelbaum, a lawyer for one of Gosman’s creditors, JPMorgan Chase Bank.

As Donald Trump and Melania stay in the US Ambassador’s London residence, one picture will mean more to the First Lady than any other.
It’s not Winfield House’s painting of Churchill or its George Washington portrait that shows the special relationship between the UK and US, but a picture Ambassador Woody Johnson has hung in his office.
Johnson was the Heir of Johnson&Johnson and one of the biggest fundraisers for Trump’s campaign despite originally supporting Jeb Bush for the Republican presidential candidacy.
Suzanne Ircha, a close associate of Melania Trump, is listed in a previously unseen address book that apparently belonged to Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s.
The address book, obtained by Insider, brings dozens of notable names into Epstein’s network for the first time. It also traces previously reported relationships back to the 1990s.
Ircha, who now goes by Suzanne Johnson following her marriage to New York Jets owner Woody Johnson, is frequently described in the media as the best friend of Melania Trump. Her presence in Epstein’s Rolodex adds to a web of known connections between the former First Lady, her husband, and the sex offender.
Ircha Johnson, an erstwhile actress who starredin two B-movies during a hiatus from the financial sector, formerly worked as an equities saleswoman at the investment bank Sandler O’Neill. Like Epstein, she started her finance career at Bear Stearns.
Her entry in Epstein’s address book shows not only an apartment in Midtown Manhattan, but also the phone numbers of her sister and brother. Through a spokesperson, Ircha Johnson declined to comment or explain why Epstein had her and her siblings‘ contact information.
Ircha’s entry is one of many Epstein connections that have never before come to light. There are 221 unique names in the Rolodex that do not appear in Epstein’s previously published address book, which dates nearly a full decade later.

In Sarah Blaskey, Nicholas Nehamas, Caitlin Ostroff and Jay Weaver’s book The Grifter’s Club, Ostroff claims to have seen a Mar-a-Lago membership registry which indicates Epstein was actually a full member until October 2007 [see Miami Herald].

The rumors are elaborated on by Houraney’s then-wife Jill Harth, who would later sue Trump for a sexual assault which occurred in 1997 [Vanity Fair].

Unknown 1994: A Doe claimed in a civil filing against Epstein’s estate that Epstein had showed her off to Trump at Mar-a-Lago in 1994 when she was 14 years old [Court Listener, paragraph 17]. During Ghislaine Maxwell’s 2021 trial, the same survivor (very likely the same, to be clear) reiterated the 1994 encounter, and also claimed that she had competed in a beauty pageant sponsored by Trump the same year [Twitter 1(innercitypress)].

Unknown 1996: Survivor Maria Farmer names Donald Trump as a likely co-conspirator during her tenure in Epstein’s orbit [The Daily, Youtube 1 (Webb interview), Youtube 2 (Webb interview)], Youtube 3(TrueAnon interview)]. Maria also claims in an interview with Whitney Webb that Trump’s former wife Ivana assisted Maxwell in recruitment through this period [for example Youtube 1 (Webb interview), Youtube 2(TrueAnon interview)], though it should be noted that Trump and Ivana were divorced and Trump married to Marla Maples by the time Maria was working for Epstein:
January 1997: According flight logs [Court documents, p. 470] Trump traveled on Epstein’s 727 with Epstein, Epstein’s brother Mark Epstein, and Glenn and Eva Dublin from Palm Beach to Newark in 1997. Indeed, in a 2009 deposition Mark recalls a flight with Trump on Epstein’s 727 [Court documents, pp.73–4], and in a 2019 Washington Postinterview elaborated he had personally traveled on Epstein’s plane only once but Trump traveled on it “numerous times.” He also said:

October 1997: Trump and Maxwell are photographed at Ford’s Models’ 50th anniversary party in NY [New York Daily News]. Trump is wearing the same tie as in this November 1997 photo too [Getty]:
November 1997: “Trump has fallen under the spell of a 20 year-old English girl.” An article appears in London’s Sunday Mirror detailing weekend trip by Maxwell and survivor Anouska de Georgiou from NY to Mar-a-Lago, also claiming Trump put up Anouska in one of his NY apartments afterwards [TheFreeLibrary, The Sunday Mirror].

That’s a whole lot of state boundaries to be gallivanting across and, in my opinion, represents the smoking gun that Trump knew exactly what was going on. Anouska would elaborate on her relationship with Trump in a 2008 interview saying “We’re friends now and I attended his wedding. He’s adorable, he’s been so kind to me. He’s such a generous-spirited person” [Daily Mail].
The above is not the only suggestion that Trump was involved or knew about trafficking within Epstein’s orbit. From Craig Unger [Vanity Fair]:
An associate of Epstein’s who asked not to be identified told me that Epstein showed him one photo of Trump with a topless young girl. In another, the source said, Trump is with two young girls who are said to be laughing as they point out what appears to be a wet spot in an unfortunate location on his pants. The description of the photo suggested that it was a semen stain — but the photos have never been released.

September 1998: Trump meets his third wife Melania Knauss. The New York Times reports that Epstein “claimed to people” after Trump’s to have introduced Trump to Melania in 1998. These claims are unverified and do not accord with other accounts [Snopes].
February 1999: Trump Model Management (then T Models) is founded. The company would be implicated in trafficking models from Eastern Europe to work in the US without proper visas. Former models have said in the media and in court documents that they lived in tightly packed shared quarters, paid high rents and fees, and received little income [Mother Jones 1, MotherJones 2, Daily Kos, The Daily Beast]. It is relevant because models once contracted to Trump Model Management — such as Russian Anna Malova — also spent time in Epstein’s orbit [Vanity Fair, American Kompromat]. There are also claims that Epstein wanted to set up his own modelling agency emulating Trump’s approach. For example, from journalist Julie K. Brown:

October 2002: Trump acknowledges Epstein’s taste in women “on the younger side” in a New York Magazine puff piece grossly titled “Jeffrey Epstein: International Moneyman of Mystery”. In full once more:
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side… No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
In his book Relentless Pursuit, attorney Bradley Edwards recalls an interview with Trump in which Trump claimed the quote was written by Epstein and attributed to him with permission.

Unknown 2003: In Trump’s 2005 book Trump: How To Get Rich, the hallmark “week in the life” chapter contains this context-less nugget logged at 4:30pm on a Fall Tuesday afternoon:
The mysterious Jeffrey calls in. As mysterious as Jeffrey is, he’s one of the few people I know who can get by on just a first name. My staff never asks for a last name in his case, which in a way puts him up there with Elvis. Not that Elvis calls in much these days, but you never know.
November 2004: Epstein called Trump and spoke on the telephone twice in November, according to message pads seized from Epstein’s El Brillo way property obtained by Vice.
Unknown 2004: Claims that Trump and Epstein fell out about recruitment at Mar-a-Lago and/or a dispute over property deal. The claims about recruitment are elaborated on in Patterson’s book [Filthy Rich] and are corroborated in an affidavit by attorney Bradley Edwards. Note these claims specifically relate to Epstein attempting to recruit the daughter of a Mar-a-Lago member. Survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre —an employee of Mar-a-Lago — was recruited at there in 1999.
The claims about a dispute over a property deal originate in the Washington Post. Trump and Epstein bid against each other for the former beach front property of nursing home magnate Abe Gosman, which Gosman had purchased from Epstein confidant Leslie Wexner in 1988. Four years after the auction (which Trump won) Trump sold it to Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million, more than doubling his investment.
On top of all of this, there’s some confusion about the timing of the ban. The first reports emerged in October 2007 around time of Epstein’s conviction [Page Six]. This timeline is corroborated by the authors of the book The Grifter’s Club, who claim to have sighted a Mar-a-Lago membership registry that indicated Epstein was a full member until October 2007 [Miami Herald].
Finally, journalist Michael Wolfe [Daily Mail] claims that Trump and Epstein may have outed each other to police as a result of the fallout. There are suggestions this is also what Epstein believed [Vanity Fair], however the story is inconsistent with other evidence concerning how the 2005 Epstein investigation began — a concerned mother finding $300 in her disgruntled teen step daughter’s purse.
March 2005: The Palm Beach Police investigation into Epstein begins.
June 2008: Epstein pleads guilty two felony prostitution charges and is sentenced to 18 month prison.
September 2009: Juan Alessi, who worked for Epstein from 1991 to 2002, said in a deposition that Trump “would come, have dinner” at Epstein’s El Brillo way property [Court Document]. He also says Trump did not take massages while he was there.
Unknown 2009: Attorney Bradley Edwards claims that Donald Trump was the only person to respond to a series of subpoenas issued to Epstein’s influential friends. He said:
Unknown 2010: Epstein pleaded the fifth when asked if he had ever socialized with Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18 [Court Document line 105].
March 2011: In a Daily Mail interview with journalist Sharon Churcher, survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre claims:
“Donald Trump was also a good friend of Jeffrey’s. He didn’t partake in sex with any of us but he flirted with me. He’d laugh and tell Jeffrey, “You’ve got the life.”
In court documents Virginia claims the headlines were invented by Churcher, that Trump had not flirted with her, nor had she seen him with any minors, nor at any of Epstein’s properties in USVI, NM or NY [Court Document p25–6]. We know from other sources above that Trump did visit Epstein in NY and Palm Beach, however.
December 2013: Epstein’s plane N212JE is photographed parked next to Trump’s N757AF in Palm Beach [flickriver].
January 2015: Trump is named (as well as Ivana, Ivanka and Robert) in Epstein’s little black book after it turned up in court proceedings [Gawker]. Trump was identified by the butler who provided the book as a potential “material witness.”

It has been reported that Trump met with AMI CEO David Pecker in the weeks leading up to the conference and discussed copies of the National Enquirer’s coverage of the now infamous Prince Andrew photo [VF]:
“Trump said that Pecker had told him that the pictures of Clinton that Epstein had from his island were worse,” recalls a former Trump Organization employee [Sam Nunberg].
The journalist corroborated the incident with Michael Cohen (from prison). The claims are also promulgated several years earlier in Roger Stone’s October 2015 book The Clinton’s War on Women:
A former editor of the National Enquirer told us that his reporters had learned that Maxwell has retained a photo of former president Bill Clinton in a compromising position with a seventeen-year-old.
Although salacious, it is difficult to ascertain their credibility. On one hand, only convicted felons have repeated them. On the other, from January 2015 —around the same time the rumors originated —until Trump’s GOP nomination, Roger Stone was pointedly targeting Clinton’s ties to the scandal in publications such as The Daily Caller,The Sunshine State News, and on Hannity(twice), as well as a whole chapter in his 2015 book. Furthermore, in a November 2016 Infowars segment Stone may have let slip that he knew about Virginia’s allegations against former Democratic Governor Bill Richardson and former Democratic Senator George J. Mitchell three years before the public:
Neither of these details are conclusive — the rumors could still be simply made up. Still, Trump’s comments (in February) can be taken in the context of an escalating attack on Clinton (from early January) for his ties to the burgeoning Epstein scandal. When Trump announced he would run for the Republican nomination Roger Stone and the conservative talk shows went quiet.
April 2016: Katie Johnson’s accusation from 1994 are filed in CA anonymously and without counsel [Court Documents, Buzfeed]. David Pecker’s perennially suspicious RadarOnlinebroke the news:
Trump told Radar moments ago: “The allegations are not only categorically false, but disgusting at the highest level and clearly framed to solicit media attention or, perhaps, are simply politically motivated. There is absolutely no merit to these allegations. Period.”
Pecker’s media organizations would later be implicated in protecting Trump from the allegations in Ronan Farrow’s book Catch and Kill [Newsweek]. For context, Pecker is of Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal catch-and-kill fame, was instrumental in protecting Harvey Weinstein from sexual abuse allegations for years, and tried to blackmail Jeff Bezos in February 2019. The author of the above RadarOnline piece (Dylan Howard) is Pecker’s right hand man and was the guy who carried out most of these schemes.
The story was shopped about media in a suspicious way and ultimately dismissed. Here is the alleged interview:
May 2016: Donald Trump secures the nomination for Republican candidate for president in the 2016 election.
June 2016: The Katie Johnson allegations resurface in a Huffington Post piece by attorney Lisa Bloom. Bloom offers to represent Johnson in her suit against Trump.
September 2016: The final rendition of the Johnson lawsuit is filed September 30. Bloom announces a 1pm November 2 press conference notably just six days before the election.
October 2016: Pizzagate — a bizarre conspiracy theory linking Hillary Clinton and other top Democrats to satanism and a clandestine sex child trafficking ring — begins to light up social media. A Rolling Stone investigation traces the original Facebook post to a user out of Joplin, Missouri named Carmen Katz. The post, which directly invokes the Epstein scandal, went viral:
Over the coming days and weeks, the conspiracy would be propagated by GOP operatives such as Erik Prince, Mike Cernovich,Roger Stone, and Alex Jones, possibly in an attempt to apply pressure to reopen the Hillary email investigation and/or to deflect from the Johnson allegations. It would culminate two months later in a shooting incident at DC pizza shop called Comet Ping Pong.
November 2, 2016: Katie Johnson pulls out of the highly anticipated press conference with Lisa Bloom in NY and two days later drops her suit. It has been reported she faced death threats in the days before the press conference [Medium].
November 8, 2016: Trump wins the 2016 election.
December 2016: Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway is photographed with Epstein’s pilot Larry Visoski [Washington Examiner].
Unknown 2016: According to CBS producer Ira Rosen, Ghislaine Maxwell acknowledged that Epstein recorded tapes of Trump (and Clinton) engaged in illegal conduct [Daily Mail]. Ghislaine reportedly told Rosen she didn’t “know where” such recordings were after the Emmy-winning producer asked her to hand over the footage.
January 2017: Trump inaugurated as 45th president of the United States.
April 2017: Alex Acosta, who signed off on Epstein’s sweetheart deal in 2007, is confirmed as Labor Secretary by the U.S. Senate after being nominated by Trump a few months earlier.
April 2017: Trump Model Management is shut down amid immigration controversies.
November 2017: QAnon, another bizarre conspiracy theory about a global cabal of infanticidal pedophiles against which Donald Trump is waging a secret war (whew), first brings up the Epstein scandal in drop #133 [QPub]. It is notable that QAnon recycles many Pizzagate themes including Democratic ties to Epstein. “Q” would go on to make another 37 drops containing the word “Epstein”, 6 containing the word “Maxwell”, and multiple others touching on Epstein related themes such as Bill Clinton’s ties to the scandal [#1055, #3131, #3133, #3363, #3362, #3508], supposed Clinton confidant Rachael Chandler, the temple on Little St. James, Les Wexner, even a shout out to survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Trump and his allies would court the movement throughout his presidency.

December 2017: Rumors that Trump visited Jeffrey Epstein at his El Brillo Way property. Political columnist Seth Abramson argues that it was likely around Christmas time, and also propagates a rumor that Epstein advised Trump on foreign policy in this period [Twitter].
August 2018: A year after leaving Trump’s administration, Steve Bannon is seen entering Epstein’s NY property [Page Six]. The butler who managed Epstein’s Paris property also named Bannon as a guest in in France the same year [franceinfo, New York Post].
28 November 2018: Julie K. Brown’s A Perversion of Justice is published. This is when I started paying attention to the case. While many authors and journalists had come before Brown, her reporting about the plea deal under Acosta struck a nerve with the public and propelled the case from the tabloids and online message boards into the national discussion for the first time.
February 2019: William Barr is confirmed as Attorney General. There are largely unsubstantiated claims that Barr’s father (who served in the Office of Strategic Services, the predecessor to the CIA) provided Epstein with his first job at Dalton School in NY [Daily Beast].
March 2019: Attorney Bradley Edwards, in a conversation with Epstein about the ongoing CRVA litigation, recounts Epstein talking about “friend” Trump and “his boy” Barr [Relentless Pursuit]:
Brad, what is the end goal with the CVRA? Even if you win and the judge rules it’s invalid, there is no way they will prosecute me. This will go all the way up to the attorney general. You know Trump was my friend and Barr is his boy. Let’s end this CVRA thing and be done.
June 2019: Trump meets Prince Andrew for a breakfast meeting in the UK despite recent claims not to know him [Washington Post].
6 July 2019: Epstein is arrested at Teterboro Airport in NJ in a joint investigation by the FBI and the NYPD. The QAnon theorists go wild. An explainer from New York Magazine:
On the Fourth of July, or maybe on the fifth… John F. Kennedy Jr., who faked his own death 20 years ago, would reveal himself, and then, as QAnon interpreter Will Sommer puts it, “team up with Trump and ship a huge number of top Democrats off to Guantanamo Bay” for their participation in these global child-sex rings… Of course, this wild theory turned out to be bogus. It wasn’t until July 6 that the feds handed out an indictment over a global underage sex-trafficking ring implicating U.S. presidents, heads of government, top lawyers, world-famous actors, and a member of the English royal family.
9 July 2019: Trump breaks his silence on the scandal and says this of his relations with Epstein [Politico]:
12 July 2019: Acosta resigns and Labor Secretary amid growing controversy over his role in Epstein’s 2008 sweetheart deal.
July 2019: Comedian, former The Apprentice staffer, and former Trump pageant staffer Noel Casler negates his NPA and starts sounding off about Trump’s ties to Epstein on social media [Twitter]. Salaciously he claims Epstein was Trumps protege.
10 August 2019: Epstein found dead in his NY jail cell.
11 August 2019: Trump retweets two (QAnon tangential) conspiracy theories linking Bill and Hillary Clinton to Epstein’s death [Bloomberg,Trump Archive 1, Trump Archive 2]. In his usual style Trump would later double down on the statements and deflect to unverified claims from Fox Newsthat Clinton had traveled on Epstein’s plane without his secret service attache:
21 July 2020: Donald Trump, referring to Maxwell’s arrest, claims he has not been following the situation and says “I wish her well, frankly” [Fox News]. In an AXIOSinterview a week later Trump would double down:
22 July 2020: Epstein’s former Tower’s Financial associate turned victim advocate Steven Hoffenberg told CNN of Trump and Maxwell’s relationship:
There’s no dispute… They knew each other well… He liked her and she liked him.
December 31 2020: Attorney Lin Wood, who had been litigating on behalf of Trump against the 2020 election results, claimed Jeffrey Epstein was still alive [Twitter]. The comments come after a 6 month campaign to tie Chief Justice John Roberts to two entries in Epstein’s flight logs.
January 20 2021: The Trump presidency ends.
Why the Co-Conspirators are not on Trail with G. Maxwell ?
1. THE CO-DEFENDANTS
What the media won’t tell you is that Ghislaine is actually not sitting alone on that bench. So the web of interests is even more gigantic than we previously thought.
“It doesn’t seem right that only Maxwell is in the dock. There were others who facilitated the abuse and this makes it seem like it was only her”, one woman, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Telegraph.
“Ghislaine continues to have many friends. I know this because we receive mail, emails, letters and so forth from her friends, but we live in a world where people are cancelled for friendships of this type.”

US Government should be a co-defendant in this trial, and, instead, it mocks the investigator, prosecutor and judge. What are the chances this turns out well?

There were two reactions to come out of this weekend’s revelation that Cambridge Analytica, a voter-profiling firm enlisted by the Trump campaign, had accessed 50 million Facebook accounts’ worth of data to, in the words of The New York Times, “identify the personalities of American voters and influence their behavior.” Many outlets and individuals referred to the access as a “breach” of Facebook’s data walls, an illicit action that took advantage of Facebook without its knowledge. But the collection and use of the data was incredibly normal. Facebook knew it, and didn’t make a secret of it.
The reaction of Facebook’s own staff was one of light exasperation, as if explaining a mundane fact of life to children. Though Facebook itself issued a self-serious PR statement saying it had banned Cambridge Analytica from its platform, one of its VPs took to Twitter to explain that the data the company accessed was freely provided by Facebook itself. Alex Stamos, chief security officer at Facebook, explained in a series of now-deleted tweets:
“Kogan [one of Cambridge Analytica’s researchers] did not break into any systems, bypass any technical controls, or use a flaw in our software to gather more data than allowed. He did, however, misuse that data after he gathered it, but that does not retroactively make it a ‘breach’.”
He continued:
“At the time of this quiz [app written to collect data], the Facebook API allowed app developers to see a larger portion of the data available to a user than we do now. This included names and likes from friends, There were privacy controls available to both the user of the app and their friends. The ability to get friend data via API, with the permission of a user, was documented in our terms of service, platform documentation, the privacy settings and the screen users to login to apps.”
The problem with the situation that Stamos described is that it elides yet another situation: that of how users’ data is guarded, or in more cases, collected, used, and sold, with their legal permission, if only their dim awareness. All manner of sins in our modern tech-driven society can be covered by a single clause that notes “anonymized” data “may be shared” with “third parties.” Such a clause appears in most terms of services of the apps and platforms we use, with no opportunity to opt out or otherwise control our data; to use Facebook or Google is to conscript our information into service to “pay” for our use of them. It’s always been true that nothing is free, and if there’s no product to buy, you are the product. The great achievement of the tech behemoths has been how easy they’ve made it to forget that.
Facebook was not alone in its calm, quietly frustrated reaction. Many Silicon Valley dwellers and people who follow the industry reacted similarly, so annoyed that some seemed to think the outrage was disingenuous — of course these companies are using your data like this.

It is well-documented that policymakers have been incredibly slow to protect people from predatory data use, in part because most are tech-illiterate, and in part because the effects are so abstracted and difficult to measure. (Europe is doing a somewhat better job than the U.S., but tech companies are so powerful and well-resourced, and move so quickly, that it’s almost impossible for a mere government to pin them down.) Most companies that trade in the sale and manipulation of personal information are private and beholden to few rules other than the bare minimum of those they establish themselves, to avoid scrutiny and be able to say “we told you so” if an angry individual ever comes calling. Even if a consumer is aware their data is being passed around, their ability to control it once it’s out there is virtually nil: if they request it be deleted from one data broker, it can simply be bought back from from one of several gigantic firms that have been storing it, too.
It is an open question what the actual effect of Cambridge Analytica’s work on the presidential election was, and what the outcome might have been without its influence (most references to its “psychographic” profiling in The New York Times’ story are appropriately skeptical). It would be hard to say without a lot more cooperation from the company and Facebook itself. But the leak by one of its researchers is an incredibly rare glimpse into a fairly routine process in an industry that is so staggeringly enormous and influential, not just in politics but in our personal, day-to-day existence, that it’s difficult to believe that it is anything but a mistake. But it isn’t, and wasn’t, a mistake. It is how things happened and are still happening every day.
I’ve written about privacy issues on and off throughout my career, and I’d like to think if I were better at it, people would care by now. But it’s profoundly difficult to get any normal person properly riled about it, because there is nothing to point to that shows them what the troves of personal data held by businesses and marketing companies can do. Many issues don’t get the coverage and reaction they deserve because there is no effect; no visual, concrete element. It seems too easy to look at the Cambridge Analytica leaks and then blame Facebook for Trump. But when this incident is added to a pile of other election-related scandals where poor beset little Facebook yet again finds itself at the center, it’s becoming harder for everyone to ignore the connection.

Company’s work in 68 countries laid bare with release of more than 100,000 documents
An explosive leak of tens of thousands of documents from the defunct data firm Cambridge Analytica is set to expose the inner workings of the company that collapsed after the Observer revealed it had misappropriated 87 million Facebook profiles.
More than 100,000 documents relating to work in 68 countries that will lay bare the global infrastructure of an operation used to manipulate voters on “an industrial scale” are set to be released over the next months.
It comes as Christopher Steele, the ex-head of MI6’s Russia desk and the intelligence expert behind the so-called “Steele dossier” into Trump’s relationship with Russia, said that while the company had closed down, the failure to properly punish bad actors meant that the prospects for manipulation of the US election this year were even worse.
The release of documents began on New Year’s Day on an anonymous Twitter account, @HindsightFiles, with links to material on elections in Malaysia, Kenya and Brazil. The documents were revealed to have come from Brittany Kaiser, an ex-Cambridge Analytica employee turned whistleblower, and to be the same ones subpoenaed by Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The documents were retrieved from her email accounts and hard drives, and though she handed over some material to parliament in April 2018, she said there were thousands and thousands more pages which showed a “breadth and depth of the work” that went “way beyond what people think they know about ‘the Cambridge Analytica scandal’”.
Steele made a rare public intervention to comment on the leaks. He said that while he didn’t know what was in them, the context couldn’t be more important because “on our current trajectory these problems are likely to get worse, not better, and with crucial 2020 elections in America and elsewhere approaching, this is a very scary prospect. Something radical needs to be done about it, and fast.”
He said authorities in the west had failed to punish those practising social and other media manipulation, and “the result will be that while CA may have been exposed and eventually shut down, other, even more sophisticated actors will have been emboldened to interfere in our elections and sow social divisions”.
Kaiser said the Facebook data scandal was part of a much bigger global operation that worked with governments, intelligence agencies, commercial companies and political campaigns to manipulate and influence people, and that raised huge national security implications.
The unpublished documents contain material that suggests the firm was working for a political party in Ukraine in 2017 even while under investigation as part of Mueller’s inquiry and emails that Kaiser says describe how the firm helped develop a “sophisticated infrastructure of shell companies that were designed to funnel dark money into politics”.

“There are emails between these major Trump donors discussing ways of obscuring the source of their donations through a series of different financial vehicles. These documents expose the entire dark money machinery behind US politics.” The same machinery, she says, was deployed in other countries that Cambridge Analytica worked in, including, she claims, Britain.
Emma Briant, an academic at Bard College, New York, who specialises in investigating propaganda and has had access to some of the documents for research, said that what had been revealed was “the tip of the iceberg”.
“The documents reveal a much clearer idea of what actually happened in the 2016 US presidential election, which has a huge bearing on what will happen in 2020. It’s the same people involved who we know are building on these same techniques,” she said.
“There’s evidence of really quite disturbing experiments on American voters, manipulating them with fear-based messaging, targeting the most vulnerable, that seems to be continuing. This is an entire global industry that’s out of control but what this does is lay out what was happening with this one company.”

Are Palantir Technologies, Starlink, and other tech giants seizing the opportunity to test their products’ war applications on civilians in Gaza, turning the besieged strip into a proving ground for their technology?
In recent years, the intersection of technology and warfare has come under public fire, raising profound ethical and legal questions about state military use of advanced tech tools. The role of advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) in modern conflicts is under intense scrutiny, especially when civilian lives are at stake.
As the genocide in Gaza advances, attention is turning to the companies whose technologies may be facilitating Israel’s daily atrocities, with US-based Palantir Technologies among them.
While the International Criminal Court (ICC) is stepping in to address genocide accusations, the tech barons who design and supply the tools of warfare remain largely unchallenged.
Since 8 October, over 36,000 Palestinians have been killed in a brutal conflict that has left more casualties than all other wars combined over the past two years. This staggering loss of innocent lives has renewed scrutiny of the technologies that are incorrectly and systematically targeting civilians instead of combatants.
Palantir’s integration in Israel
Companies like Palantir Technologies, led by CEO Alex Karp, have been implicated in enabling some of these atrocities. Its advanced data analytics and AI tools that supposedly provide “precision targeting” are mass-killing civilians and have transformed warfare into a calculated and systematic campaign of extermination with little human oversight.
Founded in 2003 by Karp and Peter Thiel, Palantir Technologies has grown from a secretive data analytics startup to a cornerstone of modern military and intelligence operations. Initially funded by the CIA’s venture capital arm, In-Q-Tel, Palantir’s tech products have become integral to numerous US government agencies, including the FBI, Department of Defense, and various police departments.
This deep entanglement with US intelligence and military bodies paved the way for Palantir’s strategic alignment with Israel.
The tech giant’s involvement in Israel predates its formal agreements by many years. The company established an office in Tel Aviv in 2015, strategically located overlooking Rothschild Boulevard on one side and Yehuda Halevy Street on the other.
This location underscores the company’s deep integration into the Israeli tech ecosystem. Karp himself highlighted Palantir’s strong ties to Israel in a December 2023 interview on Fox Business, stating, “We are very well known in Israel. Israel appreciates our product.”
Formalizing the partnership
The partnership between Palantir and Israel’s military began to solidify with a formal agreement signed on 12 January 2024 – three months after the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza began – following a visit by company executives to Israel, during which they held their first board meeting of the year in Tel Aviv.
As Palantir Executive Vice President Josh Harris stated, “Both parties have mutually agreed to harness Palantir’s advanced technology in support of war-related missions,” a euphemism for what has been qualified as enabling genocidal actions.
Palantir’s arsenal of technological tools – akin to digital weapons of mass destruction – is currently being deployed by the occupation army, leaving no doubt about the company’s complicity in the ongoing genocide.
The brutal reality of precision
The recent carnage in Rafah on 26 May, in which Israel bombed a refugee camp, killing dozens of Palestinians, and the deaths of seven World Central Kitchen workers in April during airstrikes, highlight the brutal misuse of Palantir’s so-called “precision” technology.
The company’s TITAN system, promoted as a highly accurate AI model designed to enhance targeting precision, epitomizes the problems with Palantir’s claimed high accuracy capabilities. While there is no direct evidence that TITAN, specifically, is used by Israel, the company’s tech claims are integral to its broader product offerings, some of which are employed by Tel Aviv.
Marketed as providing real-time actionable intelligence and integrating sensor data for pinpoint accuracy, Palantir’s TITAN system is touted for reducing collateral damage. However, in Gaza, the deployment of Palantir’s technology has not prevented but facilitated widespread civilian casualties and destruction. The tragedies in Rafah and the deaths of aid workers expose the grotesque irony and devastating human cost of such “accuracy.”
The collaboration has deeply embedded Palantir into Israel’s military infrastructure, providing a technological or “digital” backbone for brutalities in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories.
Tech titans in warfare
Given that Palantir has been active in Israel since 2015, the timing of the strategic agreement, dubbed the “Partnership for Battle Tech,” in early 2024 raises serious questions.
Was this a calculated move by Palantir to use the intensified conflict as an opportunity to test their AI models on civilians, turning Gaza into a gruesome proving ground for their technology? This suggestion would cast yet another dark shadow on Palantir’s ethics, implying that their business strategy might involve exploiting human suffering for technological advancement.
Palantir’s deep involvement in Israel’s military infrastructure is part of a broader, troubling pattern of technology enabling warfare. That connection extends to another tech giant – SpaceX’s Starlink, led by Elon Musk. Understanding this intricate relationship is crucial to grasping how modern conflicts are increasingly driven by advanced technologies developed by private corporations.
In Ukraine, the collaboration between Palantir and Starlink starkly illustrates the profound impact of integrated technology on warfare. Palantir’s AI models provide the Ukrainian military with essential data analytics, transforming raw images from drones, satellites, and ground reports into real-time actionable intelligence.
This process, which Palantir’s CEO Karp chillingly refers to as a “digital kill chain,” has become central to Ukraine’s defense strategy, enabling precise targeting and battlefield assessments. Simultaneously, Elon Musk’s Starlink ensures uninterrupted communication for Ukrainian forces, maintaining a continuous flow of critical information vital for modern warfare.
The Ukraine war, of course, has proved catastrophic, with Ukrainian military casualties accumulating in astounding numbers, all while President Volodymyr Zelensky – despite the assistance of cutting-edge technologies from tech barons – and his allies in western capitals pretend otherwise.
Now, Israel’s war on Gaza appears to be descending into a similar quagmire. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, like Zelensky, seems politically detached from the grim military realities on the ground, counting on, it appears, the false illusion of control provided by tech barons through “sophisticated” technological support.
Starlink’s controversial approval in Gaza
On 12 January, the Israeli government approved the use of Starlink services at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, ostensibly for medical purposes.
This approval should not be viewed as a purely humanitarian gesture. Instead, it lays the groundwork for another potential insidious integration of Palantir and Starlink, mirroring their collaboration in Ukraine.
By enabling advanced satellite communication, Starlink’s approval in Gaza potentially supports military operations, suggesting the establishment of the “digital kill chain” behind the fig leaf of humanitarian aid.
The brutal siege on Al-Shifa Hospital by Israeli forces, involving severe atrocities against both civilians and medical staff, sharply contradicts any supposed altruistic intent behind Starlink’s deployment. After a two-week siege that ended on 1 April, Al-Shifa Hospital was mostly destroyed, and hundreds of dead Palestinians were found in and around the hospital, including in mass graves.
The question arises: was this highly publicized approval of Starlink at Shifa a soft PR salvo laying the groundwork to integrate the company’s products into Israeli military operations inside the Gaza Strip? The timing and context of these developments raise unsettling questions about the actual intentions of both Starlink and Tel Aviv.
Enter Musk
Musk’s highly publicized visit to Israel on 27 November 2023, where he met with Netanyahu, was far from a mere diplomatic event. Musk, who has been meticulously cultivating an image as a champion of free speech via his acquisition of social media platform X – a role he cultivates like a carefully tailored suit of shining armor – found himself ensnared in a propaganda display orchestrated by Israel.
This scenario is reminiscent of the myth of Icarus, who, despite the heat, flew too close to the sun with wings made of wax and feathers.
Similarly, Musk’s involvement with Netanyahu and the Israeli government, amidst growing scrutiny over war crimes, threatens to destroy his meticulously constructed image. In retrospect, with the ICC’s investigation into war crimes intensifying, this meeting casts a long shadow over Musk’s carefully cultivated persona.
Holding tech execs accountable
Recent legal actions, such as the case in the UK brought by the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP) against British ministers, highlight the growing effort to hold enablers of genocide accountable.
Yet, prominent figures in the tech industry remain conspicuously unexamined. But why? This situation mirrors the prosecution of individuals in Nazi Germany who enabled the Holocaust through their technological and logistical support, underscoring the need for comprehensive accountability in modern times.
The statutes of the ICC, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) explicitly recognize various forms of complicity. These include aiding and abetting, which encompass providing the necessary tools and support for committing war crimes and genocide.
This legal framework implies that tech executives whose innovations facilitate large-scale violence should be held accountable under international law.
The intersection of advanced technology and warfare, driven by powerful tech magnates, illustrates a chilling reality: the tools designed to connect and protect are being repurposed to destroy and devastate. Worse yet, it seems war fields like Gaza are viewed as relatively risk-free testing grounds for these tech systems. It is time to make business collaborations with genocide a risk-heavy endeavor, and those efforts must start in the courtroom.

John George Trump (August 21, 1907 – February 21, 1985) was an American electrical engineer and inventor who designed high-voltage generators and found new applications for them in cancer treatment, nuclear physics, and manufacturing. A professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), he directed the High Voltage Research Lab and co-founded the High Voltage Engineering Corporation, a particle acceleratormanufacturer. He was the paternal uncle of President Donald Trump.
As Robert Van de Graaff's first PhD student, Trump helped build the first electrostatic generator to reach potentials above one megavolt, then worked on compact versions that could be installed in hosptals for x-ray cancer therapy. He later developed rotational radiation therapy, a technique allowing precise tumor targeting. While treating thousands of cancer patients on MIT's campus, Trump's lab team also focused on improving high-voltage machinery and researched its application in areas like food sterilization and wastewater treatment.
During World War II, Trump was a key figure in delivering radar equipment to allied forces through the MIT Rad Lab, the war's largest civilian science enterprise. HVE became the earliest successful investment of the American Research and Development Corporation, the first modern venture capital fund.
Both John Trump and his brother Fred joined their family real estate firm, and their mother hoped that Fred would build homes and John design them.[5] Trump enrolled at Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn to study architecture. The brothers' work together ended due to differences in business philosophy: Fred preferred to sell units, John thought they should only sell once finished.[5] By the end of his freshman year, John left the family real estate business and switched his concentration from architecture to engineering.[5]
In 1931, Trump enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to pursue doctoral training in electrical engineering. When he arrived, MIT's leadership was focused on building the institute's reputation in basic physics.[11]Vannevar Bush, dean of MIT's engineering school, advised Trump to work with the young physicist Robert J. Van de Graaff, who was recently recruited to MIT to improve his newly invented electrostatic generator.[10][12] Particle physicists around the world were running breakthrough experiments with high-voltage generators, and MIT's leadership sought to demonstrate a 10-megavolt model of Van de Graaff's prototype.[12]Scaling up would require a high-power vacuum. To power the vacuum cylinder, Trump designed a synchronous alternating-current motor that was assembled in an MIT machine shop.[12]

Using Trump's motor, the 43-foot (13 m) experimental generator was successfully demonstrated at Round Hill in November 1933.[13][14] After the research station's closure, the generator was returned to MIT's campus in 1937.[13] The generator was moved to the new building of the Boston Museum of Science, where it remains in educational use today.[9]
Trump received his doctorate of electrical engineering in 1933.[12] His thesis, "Vacuum Electrostatic Engineering," examined the factors governing voltage-insulation strength in vacuums.[15] In addition to his work on motor design, his dissertation showed how insulated vacuum lines could be used for low-loss, long-distance transmission of direct current.[12] In 1932, Van de Graaff filed to patent components in the transmission system they developed, and Trump filed a further transmission patent in 1937, his first.[16] Federal government interest in Trump and Van de Graaff's transmission system prompted MIT to develop a patent policy, one of first to allow universities to benefit when scientific discoveries were found to have profitable commercial uses.[16]
Early applied research (1935–1941)
After graduating, Trump remained at MIT as a research associate, then became an assistant professor in 1936.[17] His research focused on improving high-voltage generators and finding new uses for them in industry.[18]
In 1932, Trump learned about an MIT lecture by radiologist George W. Holmes on medical uses of high-voltage x-rays.[19] Prevailing low-voltage radiotherapy techniques could only target superficial tissues and required long exposures that damaged skin.[20] Because Van de Graaff generators produced steadier high-voltage power than transformer-based generators, Trump hypothesized they could produce penetrating x-rays that could target deeper tumors.[12]
In May 1935, Trump showed that MIT's Van de Graaff generators could produce abundant x-rays.[19] With a grant from the Godfrey M. Hyams Trust, he built a 1-megavolt (MV) generator for Boston's Huntington Memorial Hospital, a cancer treatment center.[9][19][21] In March 1937, Trump's x-ray generator entered service at Huntington.[20]With a room-sized voltage terminal and a long focusing coil snaking into the treatment room below, Trump's machine was described as a "magnificent monster" by one of its operators.[19]Doctors reported that it provided "increased depth dosages, greater skin sparing, and greater intensity."[22] The first patient treated for skin cancer survived beyond four years.[21][20]However, Huntington Hospital survived only another four years, and the machine was shut down in 1941.[22]
Using pressurized gas, Trump made new generators smaller than the original, air-insulated models. He built a compact 1.25-MV generator for Massachusetts General Hospital in 1940, which treated patients for sixteen years.[10][20] Trump's pre-war x-ray experiments have been acknowledged as precursors to the field of radiosurgery.[23]
With World War II engulfing Europe and Asia, the United States military began expanding its fleet production. Trump investigated practical applications of x-rays in military industry. With Carlton G. Lutts, an engineer at Boston Navy Yard, Trump discovered that his high-voltage generator could detect manufacturing defects in ships and aircraft.[9]
War years (1941–1945)
During World War II, Trump interrupted his research from medical uses of x-rays to focus on military uses of microwaveradar. In early 1940, he joined the newly formed National Defense Research Committee (NDRC) as technical aide to Karl Compton, president of MIT, who was serving also as the chairman of the radar division within the NDRC.[10][24] During 1942, Trump became secretary of the microwave committee, a sub-committee of the NDRC led by "millionaire physicist" Alfred Lee Loomis.[9]
Introduced to British innovations in high-power microwave signals, the NDRC pressed to fund secret civilian-led research in radar technologies. The new operation, opened at MIT in October 1940, came to be called the MIT Radiation Laboratory, or the "Rad Lab." Employing 4,000 people at its peak, the Rad Lab engineered groundbreaking devices and radar systems that were widely used in combat, including fire control, early warning, and blind bombing.
Working from MIT as a liaison to the NDRC, Trump served as an assistant director to Rad Lab head Lee DuBridge.[25] He was also appointed to lead the Rad Lab's Field Service, which cooperated with the U.S. Army and Navy to deploy and maintain radar sets in theaters of the war.[25]
In January 1943, Trump was asked by the U.S. Office of Alien Property Custodian to examine the notes, papers, and artifacts left by the inventor Nikola Tesla, who had died two days prior.[26] U.S. government officials believed the papers might contain designs for Tesla's promised high-voltage weapons, and were reluctant to have Tesla's nephew bring them to German-occupied Yugoslavia.[26][27] After a three-day investigation, Trump reported that the materials had no military value to the United States, nor would they be a "hazard in unfriendly hands."[26] In his assessment, Tesla's late-career projects were promotional and "did not include new sound workable principles or methods."[27]

During the war, Trump also served in the Advisory Specialist Group on Radar, advising USAAFGeneral Carl Spaatz on navigational radar, precision-bombing radar, and also defenses against the German radars found in their night-fighters and in their flak units. Trump worked with all the most important British radar experts, including Sir Robert Watson-Watt, A.P. Rowe, and Bernard Lovell.
In April 1945, Trump conducted debriefing interviews with the leadership of Telefunken, the telecommunications firm that developed Nazi radar and countermeasures. From these interviews, he determined that German radar development had fallen substantially behind British and American war efforts. Trump attributed this to the failure of German military leaders to closely cooperate with scientists and industry experts, as Allied forces had.[28]
Trump received recognition for his war-work partnership from both the United States and the United Kingdom.[17][29]
Post-war cancer research (1946–1973)
After the war, Trump returned to MIT and was appointed director of High Voltage Research Laboratory, a lab pursuing industrial applications of electrostatic energy.[12] Building upon his pre-war collaboration with area hospitals, Trump focused on applying high-voltage engineering to medical challenges, particularly cancer treatment.
Months after the war ended, Trump began work with his Huntington colleagues to treat cancer patients at a 3-MV generator building on MIT's campus.[30] Having discovered a way to reach deep-seated cancer lesions while sparing intervening tissues, he worked on methods to improve targeting. Trump designed an apparatus to rotate the patient around the beam, allowing x-rays to be cross-fired at the tumor site.[30][31] This technique, known as "rotational radiation therapy," remains widely used in radiotherapy.
In 1949, Trump began a two-decade collaboration with the Lahey Clinic, Boston's leading cancer hospital.[32][33] Over the next 22 years, over 500 cancer patients a year received treatment at MIT using Trump's x-ray generator.[34] Trump supervised treatments, improved targeting techniques, and personally trained many doctors in their use.[18] For many years, he taught radiation physics to early-career doctors.[35] The lab also focused on skin cancer treatment, designing a 5-MV electron-beam generator for targeting superficial lesions.[32][34]

Despite advances in supervoltage (>1MeV) generators, few hospitals had machinery to allow high-voltage cancer treatment by the 1940s.[31]After receiving many requests from hospitals for his generator, Trump oversaw a commercialization effort to meet demand.[31] He designed a compact, low-cost 2-MV Van de Graaff generator, then founded a firm to build them.[30][31]Between 1948 and 1969, the High Voltage Engineering Corporation manufactured 43 of these 2-MV machines, which treated as many as 1,000 patients a day in the United States alone.[22]
By the time Trump was appointed full professor in 1952, his cancer research devices had received worldwide attention.[31][10][18] He attracted support from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation, each of which were building major cancer research operations. His 1960 Lamme Medal citation, given for his contributions to electrical engineering, also acknowledged his stature among radiologists and observed that Trump had "remain[ed] faithful to his original goals in the treatment of malignant diseases."[10] In 1963, Trump was appointed to the board of the Lahey Clinic, and became its chair after retiring his professorship in 1973.[32]Throughout this period, he published widely in radiology and scientific instrument journals.
Compact Van de Graaff machines were among the earliest x-ray machines that could target deep tumors with precision. However, their voltages were effectively limited to 3–4 MeV, restricting their targeting depth and extending the required duration of treatment.[19][22] A 1968 global census of radiotherapy devices showed that they were being eclipsed by linear accelerators, or "linacs."[22] Linacs, which have greater beam stability, smaller forms, and higher voltages than their predecessors—are now the most prevalent devices for deep tumor radiotherapy.[19] Trump's innovations influenced this next generation of higher-voltage radiotherapy devices. Ed Ginzton, who built the first medical linear accelerator in 1956, assembled it inside the housing of Trump's 2-MeV model and borrowed its rotational setup.[36]

In 1946, Trump approached MIT President Karl Compton about commercializing his 2-MeV generator for hospital use.[31] Compton had championed the Van de Graaff generator's development since the 1930s and Trump's proposal aligned with his post-war ambitions.[31]Compton had recently co-founded the American Research and Development Corporation(ARD), the first closed-end venture capital fund, focused on forming new American industries from high-tech research.[37][38] ARD president Georges Doriot offered Trump $200,000 to start the High Voltage Engineering Corporation (HVE), Compton provided an exclusive license to MIT's Van de Graaff patents, and both served on HVE's board.[31] HVE would become the second start-up backed by ARD, and later its first successful investment.[37]
The company's original leadership consisted of Trump, Van de Graaff, and Dennis Robinson, a British engineer Trump met through the Rad Lab and recruited as HVE's chief executive.[39] Trump, who held a 13.3 percent stake in the firm, served as its founding chairman and technical director.[18][39]Working out of a Cambridge parking garage, HVE initially built Trump's compact Van de Graaff for hospitals and manufacturers.[18][38]Although the 2-MeV machines sold immediately, they faced competitive threats from other radiotherapy technologies like colbalt-60 machines.[31]
Growing federal support for nuclear science enabled HVE to invest in a higher-margin product: research particle accelerators for university and government labs.[31][40] Initially, its 2-MeV hospital accelerator found customers in nuclear science, and orders came from the Naval Research Laboratory, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and European universities.[31] In 1955, HVE was contracted to design a pioneering 5-MeV tandem accelerator for Chalk River Laboratories in Ottawa. The firm invested heavily in building higher-power tandem machines, and Trump and Van de Graaff supplied ideas for increasing their scale and voltage.[41][42] HVE would manufacture a further 55 tandem accelerators for research labs around the world.[43] The firm's largest and last successful model, the "MP" or "emperor tandem," debuted in 1963.[43] HVE tandem accelerators were prized for their precision, maintainability, and easy-to-upgrade design.[39]
In the scientific particle accelerators business, HVE had little competition, high net earnings, and a full book of orders through the late 1950s.[39][40]Setting up a production plant in Burlington, Massachusetts, HVE grew to over 1,400 employees and built at least 500 generators across all models.[42][44] By 1957, it had provided a ten-fold return to early investors.[40] HVE was ARD's most successful investment for its first decade and effectively assured the fund's survival.[40][37]
HVE remained profitable into the late 1960s, when federal funding for accelerator purchases fell.[42][41]Thereafter, the company was beset with product development issues and competitive threats. Labs reported operational problems with HVE's emperor tandem and began eyeing competitors' models.[41] The firm placed its bets on building Van de Graaff's enormous 20-MeV "transuranium accelerator," but the Atomic Energy Commissionrefused to fund its purchase.[41] Van de Graaff died in 1967, leaving the firm without its famed scientist. HVE's MIT leadership began leaving active management, though Trump provided technical advice until 1978.[41][42] After 1971, National Electrostatics Corporation, a competitor founded by Trump's longtime associate Ray Herb, booked all orders for tandem accelerators.[43]Under new leadership, HVE sold its Burlington plant, divested from the accelerator business, and focused on its conglomerate businesses that manufactured smaller industrial products.[41][42]
Holding HVE shares until his death, Trump made no personal fortune from the firm's years of profitability.[39] Several years after Trump's death, HVE accepted a buyout from a South African private equity firm.[42] Denis Robinson, its first chief executive, said the real estate Trump convinced HVE to buy on Massachusetts Route 128 would later sell at a value as high as many years of HVE's profits.[9][18]
Wastewater experiments (1974–1985)
In 1972, Congress passed new Clean Water Actstandards for secondary treatment of wastewater discharged into oceans and waterways. New rules gave cities five years to make major upgrades to sewage treatment.[45] Trump, who had longstanding interests in sterilization methods, initiated a new program at MIT concentrated on disinfecting wastewater. He researched using an electron beam from a 2-MeV accelerator as the deactivating agent in the treatment of municipal wastewater sludge.[18] The High Voltage Research Laboratory developed a prototype system that was tested at Boston's Deer Island Waste Water Treatment Plant, and it was able to provide bacterial and viral disinfection via continuous on-line treatment.[46]
Trump retired from his faculty appointment in 1973, but continued to running wastewater experiments and teaching MIT students as a senior lecturer.[29] He directed the High Voltage Research Laboratory until stepping down in 1980.[12] Trump remained engaged in wastewater research until the year of his death.[18]
Trump became a trustee of the Boston Museum of Science in 1961.[48] When the museum installed the original Van de Graff generator as a permanent exhibition, he designed electrostatic shielding that allowed live audience demonstrations.[18] He became a life trustee of the museum.[18]
Legacy
President Ronald Reagan awarded Trump the National Medal of Science in 1983 for his innovative applications of radiation in medicine, industry and atomic physics.[49] Trump died six days before the White House ceremony in February 1985, and his son John, Jr. accepted the medal on his behalf.[17][50] In a posthumous tribute, the National Academy of Engineeringdescribed John Trump as "a pioneer in the scientific, engineering and medical applications of high voltage machinery."[17]
During his career, Trump tested dual uses of high-voltage radiation during war, worked on the development of military radar, and sold particle accelerators to military research labs. After his death, some collaborators maintained that Trump declined to pursue research in offensive weaponry. James Melcher, a non-proliferation advocate who held the title of HVRL director after Trump, said: "John, over a period of three decades, would be approached by people of all sorts because he could make megavolt beams of ions and electrons – death rays... What did he do with it? Cancer research, sterilizing sludge out in Deer Island, all sorts of wondrous things. He didn't touch the weapons stuff."[51][52]
In addition to his cancer research, Trump made institutional contributions to the Lahey Clinic. While chair of its board, he advocated for the relocation of the cancer clinic to a new hospital campus in Burlington, Massachusetts. The radiation oncology building of the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is named for Trump. In 2024, one of his scientific collaborators endowed a fund at Lahey for diagnostic radiation named for Trump.[53]
Trump held his professorship for 37 years, appointed at age 27 and retiring at MIT's then-mandatory retirement age of 65. He remained on MIT's faculty as a senior lecturer for another twelve years. Although Donald Trump has frequently claimed his uncle was the longest serving professor in the history of MIT, this is not accurate.[54]Julius Stratton, who joined MIT's Department of Electrical Engineering eight years before Trump, retired in 1966 after 38 years as an MIT professor.[55] Nevertheless, Trump's young appointment as professor allowed him to serve nearly the maximum possible tenure under MIT's retirement policies. Congress prohibited mandatory faculty retirement in 1986, allowing later professors to serve longer careers.[56]

His theory was proved 50 years later when researchers at the Large Hadron Collider, the most powerful particle accelerator in the world, discovered the particle in 2012. Mr Higgs was awarded the Nobel prize a year later.
Particles make up everything in the universe but they did not have any mass when the universe began. They all sped around at the speed of light, according to the European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN). Everything we see -- planets, stars and life -- emerged after particles gained their mass from a fundamental field associated with the particle known as the Higgs boson.
However, his publishers changed the name to the "The God Particle", which often draws ire from religious communities.

The name stuck as it captures the importance of the force-giving particle without which no particles would have mass and the world as we know it would not exist.

The particle has a mass of 125 billion electron volts making it 130 times bigger than a proton , according to CERN. Interestingly, the subatomic particles known as bosons are named after Indian Physicist Satyendra Nath Bose.
Why is it called the God Particle?
The Higgs boson is popularly known as the "the God Particle". The name originated from Nobel Prize-winning physicist Leon Lederman's book on the particle which he titled the "Goddamn Particle" -- owing to frustration over how difficult it was to detect.

You would think that CERN would distance themselves from theories that they want to open worm-holes and stargates, but at times, they stoke the flames. In April of 2017 CERN released an article titled “Ancient particle accelerator discovered on Mars” where they talk about an ancient particle accelerator on Mars serving as a stargate. Of course, it was an April Fools, but curiously, they said that this stargate was located on top of Olympus Mons, which is Latin for “Mount Olympus”. Remember, as mentioned above, Talbott theorizes how the myth of Mount Olympus was based on the Saturn Polar Configuration.
Angels and Demons was filmed largely in CERN. The plot follows symbologist Robert Langdon as he tries to stop the Illuminati from destroying the Vatican Courtyard. It starts off with CERN initiating the Large Hadron Collider and smashing particles which produces antimatter. The antimatter is then stolen and planned to be used as a bomb which I think is just a plot-device to serve as an excuse for the scene explained below. The antimatter from CERN is found by the character McKenna who seizes the unstable antimatter (which is about to explode) and uses a chopper to fly over the Vatican Courtyard and jumps out as it explodes. The antimatter from CERN explodes directly above the 8-spoked Sun Wheel in the Vatican Courtyard. This Sun Wheel in the Vatican Courtyard was modelled on the symbol of Shamash and is a representation of the Saturn Polar Configuration (as shown in the image below). This scene from Angels and Demons, in my view, essentially depicts CERN tearing the veil and accessing the Saturn Polar Configuration that Talbott associates with the Tower of Babel.
The possibility the Large Hadron Collider at CERN could be used as a means to open up an inter-dimensional doorway has no doubt been the inspiration behind the various TV references which explore the same sort of themes. For example, in the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a particle collider called the Super-Collider is “a particle accelerator designed to bridge the gap between dimensions”. The design of the particle collider in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was actually inspired by the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. In the TV series Steins Gate, through the means of Kerr black-holes, the Large Hadron Collider at CERN (SERN) is used to travel in time, and in the movie Cloverfield: Paradox, a particle accelerator tears a hole in the fabric of space and time, opening up a portal. In the TV show Rewind, a particle collider opens a dimensional rift, allowing the protagonists to time-travel. In the TV show Parallels, we follow four teenage friends, on the French-Swiss border, whose lives are turned upside down by the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, which opens a rift and sends them to a parallel dimension. Meanwhile, in the movie Portals (2020) a particle accelerator opens portals around the world, and in the video-game Shin Megami Tensei IV, a particle accelerator called “Yamato Perpetual Reactor” opens portals to other dimensions. Lastly, in the TV show Mr Robot, there’s a very overt CERN-reference, where a machine that looks identical to CERN is created. The CERN-like machine was inspired by the Large Hadron Collider ATLAS detector. The machine was created by the character Whiterose and is referred to as a “VLHC” (Very Large Hadron Collider) and is associated with alternate dimensions, resurrection, and time-manipulation.

While the scenarios above linking particle accelerators to traversable worm-holes are science fiction, there does seem to be a legitimate link between CERN and the Saturn Polar Configuration, or the “Saturn Stargate”. Whatever purpose the Large Hadron Collider has, it’s clearly not enough to get the job done however, as CERN have already announced a larger collider to take its place, tentatively called the “Future Circular Collider”.
